Offline App Installation

This page describes where to download the offline application installer.

Where to download

The offline app is distributed via GitHub Releases in the april-robots-offline-deployment-kit repository.

• Go to the Releases section, located in the sidebar on the right side of the repository page.
• In the release list, select the release tagged Latest.

For Windows OS users

• Expand the Assets section of that release version and download the setup.exe file — this is the installer for the offline app on Windows OS.

For MacOS users

• Expand the Assets section of that release version and download the APRIL.Robots.Offline-0.4.0-arm64.dmg file — this is the installer for the offline app on MacOS.

If there is no .dmg file in the release version with tag Latest, then explore the latest release version with tag Pre-release.

Note: The release.zip asset is the source code archive and is not needed for installation.

What to do after launching the installer file

After launching the installer file, it will guide you through the following steps:

1. Language selection — a window will appear asking you to choose the installer language: Kazakh, Russian, or English.
2. JWT token input — a field will appear prompting you to enter a JWT token. This token is not self-generated, you need to ask it from the team members.
3. Installation progress — once the token is entered, the installer will proceed with the installation. Wait for it to complete for further usage.

TL;DR:

1. Open the repository page on GitHub.
2. Click on Releases in the right sidebar.
3. Find the release marked Latest.
4. Expand Assets and download setup.exe or APRIL.Robots.Offline-0.4.0-arm64.dmg.
5. Run the downloaded file to install the offline app.
